It has been a few weeks since our new three-lane net facility was completed at Dalnacraig, and we hope all of our members are enjoying using it.
The feedback so far has been really positive, and it has already significantly improved our training sessions. Having three lanes available has allowed us to accommodate more players, increase batting times, facilitate more technical 1 - 1 sessions and generally deliver better quality sessions across our Junior, Women & Girls and Senior sections.
As a club, we are committed to growing cricket in Dundee and making the game as accessible as possible. The additional capacity provided by the new facility is a significant step forward and will help us provide more opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to get involved in the sport.
This project was made possible thanks to significant funding support from the Dundee Community Facilities Challenge Fund, alongside the continued backing of our partners.
We would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Dundee City Council, the UK Government and the High School of Dundee for their support throughout the project and their continued commitment to the growth of cricket in the city.
We look forward to seeing the facility continue to be well used throughout the season and for many years to come!
