DHSFPCC 1st XI welcomed Bredalbane to Dalnacraig on Saturday.
DHSFPCC won the toss and with a bit of moisture remaining on the outfield after rain overnight, decided to bowl. The decision paid off immediately with three quick wickets from Brock Preston in an explosive opening spell. This was followed up by an incredible performance from Darren Milne who took his second 5-For of the season finishing with figures of 5.2 overs - 1 maiden - 17 runs - 5 wickets. Angus Beaumont got the other two wickets with Bredalbane finishing all out for 67 after 22.2 overs.
Bredalbane came out fighting and to their credit kept the bowling tight, restricting the openers and bowling 6 maidens early in the innings. However, Noah Chapman (18 not out) and Mathew Lowdon (28 not out) saw DHSFPCC to the win after 17.4 overs for the loss of just 1 wicket.
The win leaves DHSFPCC third in the table at the halfway point of the season - in touch with Stoneywood Dyce and Cresent above them, and chased by Perth Doocot behind.
