DHSFPCC 2nd XI welcomed Kinloch 3s to Dalnacraig on Saturday.

Kinloch won the toss and elected to bowl. Nial Chapman (24) and Jay Philips (42) put on an opening partnership of 73. Anish Chaudray (32) and Jay then put on a partnership of 54. Anhubav Chakravarty (26) and Bob Hopkins (24 not out) were the pick of the rest of the batsmen. DHSFPCC finished on a respectable 217 for 7 after the 40 overs.

DHSFPCC were confident that they could defend the total but Kinloch batted calmly and steadily, keeping up with the run rate and refusing to give away wickets cheaply. NP Mungi (60) and S Iqbal (81) were the pick of the Kinloch batsmen as they ground out the win with two balls to spare, reaching 218 for 4 after 39.4 overs.

The 2nd XI will pick themselves up and go again at Dalnacraig this Sunday against Falkalnd 3s.
