Earlier today the 3rd XI beat Arbroath 3rds at home in the R&D league.

Arbroath won the toss and put DHSFPCC into bat. The team batted well and put on 146/9 in the allocated 30 overs. Notable mentions to Andrew Lowdon (27), Lewis Smith (22), Shaun Crosby (26), and Anish Chudhuri (26).

DHSFPCC then bowled and fielded well restricting Arbroath to 96 for 9 after the 30 overs. A notable mention must go to Ahad Ifran who has 5 for 22 off 6 overs. Other wickets came from Alfie Whitton (1), Shaun Crosby (1), and Lewis Smith (1).

Thanks to Noah Chapman (who scored 18 from 9 balls) and Brock Preston (16 runs and three wickets) who played for Arbroath today after a couple of late call-offs left them with only 9 players.
